Note To Self: Check DJ Quik’s MySpace Page More Often

I really thought that the Fixxers, the collaboration between DJ Quik and AMG, seemed like a can’t-miss proposition, but Interscope seemed to disagree, keeping their album The Midnite Life away from the fluorescent lights of record stores. So Quik has decided to release six of that album’s tracks via MySpace; he’ll put up the rest next week. Any time is a good time for more DJ Quik, so a selection of his solo work is below the cut.

Interesting, considering that the same album was leaked on the Fixxers’ own MySpace page almost a year ago, which Quik later said was done by a hacker against their wishes.
