@ObtuseIntolerant sees lots of work to do.: I use an OmniPod as well; and yes, it is incredibly effective. So effective, in fact, that I gained about 15 pounds during the first year that I was using it. It stabilizes your blood sugar so well, that you stop burning fat during those extended periods of high blood sugar. My guess is that if he does in fact eat a lot of junk, he will gain a lot of weight unless he either a) keep his blood sugar high, so his body burns the excess fat, or b) exercise quite a bit.

The real problem with Burger King is that almost every single item on the menu contains large amounts of high fructose corn syrup; so regardless of how their food effects his weight and blood sugar, it's doing a lot of invisible damage that's going to bite him in the ass 20 years from now.

I’ve been a die-hard vegetarian since I was 13 years old. That’s 21 years. That said, I would personally slaughter a cow and club a baby seal for the chance to wear myself out on Joe Jonas.
