Disappointed By Candy Invite Lazy Critics To Take Cheap Shots

I had the opportunity to hang with the Nashville act Disappointed By Candy last night, and while the conversation was mostly focused on our shared love of the film Hot Rod and not their actual music, the band’s two members are fine musicians, and the songs are well-written bits of layered pop. DBC’s debut album is available for free (or near-free) on the site Noisetrade.com, so there’s not much to lose checking them out.
