I know, I know, some people want us to break the tyranny of release dates, but the ever-increasing evidence that the final three months are going to be a last gasp of sorts for the big, blockbuster album is just too good to resist this afternoon. And given that Q4 ‘08 has just begun, and there are many records on the docket for the coming weeks, I figured I’d ask: What not-yet-released album (or albums) are you most excited to play the crap out of over the next couple of months? Sure, it’s a tough question, and leak culture has made the whole idea of anticipating a certain album on a certain day much harder, but I’m still interested in seeing what you all want to hear. To help you out, I’ve listed some of the releases from the forthcoming weeks after the jump. (Note No. 1: It’s a very partial list, so don’t get mad if your most anticipated album isn’t on there. Note No. 2: Yes, I know that pretty much everything that’s coming out in the next week and a half has leaked, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t be excited. I mean, what happened to joy, man?)
