Besides that one, of course there's Kanye. Try and hate on him, he'll just take over the world again. Probably will be compelled to get Jay-Z. John Legend's some good chillin' music. And I didn't even know about Scott Weiland, I'll mess with that.

Definitely FOB;

Probably give The Killers a shot, since I actually liked "Sam's Town" (much to my surprise);

As far as the rap albums, it'll probably be my typical experience with Missy, Big Boi, Luda, and Kanye: I'll just get a few of the songs on the album, since they've never merited a full-album purchase;

Keane gets at least a listen;

And didn't 50 say he would stop making music if Kanye beat him last time? What a liar. Couldn't even do everyone a favor and live up to his own threat.

i personally am beyond jazzed for The Bronx's new album, as well as their mariachi companion album. And Dillinger Four's "C I V I L W A R", b/c six years between albums is far too long.

I'm definitely looking forward to Sugababes, P!nk, Big Boi, Keri Hilson, Ludacris, T-pain, Beyonce, Kelly, Kanye West and Ciara. So I guess that's a lot.

BTW I think it's 'Out Of control' from Girls Aloud rather than their previous Tangled Up.

I can't say I'm amazingly excited about anything coming out this year, but there are artists in that bunch I certainly care about. Common is generally excellent, Q-Tip is generally excellent, Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan are Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan, The Killers have flashes of brilliance... and that's about it for me.

If I ever, in a million years, have to hear the Britney, High School Musical, Nickelback, 50 Cent, American Idol (any and all), country (ditto), Hinder, or Sammy Hagar solo albums, I will literally tear my ears off my own head. Literally.

Jay-Z, Kanye, and Beyonce. Big Boi's album title is wonderful (srsly, I'm naming my son Chico Dusty), but my expectations for the songs aren't high. I expect to be mildly intrigued by the Ryan Adams album, but only mildly.

Also, weren't Secret Machines supposed to have a new album this year? Where is it??

Even though it's already available digitally, I'll still wait a few weeks to buy the CD of Microcastle by Deerhunter. I dunno, I'm old school and I like having the physical object, not just the files.

And I even though haven't been 100% thrilled by what I've heard so far from Flashy by Electric Six, I also remember that I didn't quite get Señor Smoke when I first heard it and now I think it's great.

Too bad I've heard leaks of a lot of these. Deerhunter is really good, but I can't say I anticipate since I heard it five months ago (don't give albums to your friends). I'm biased but Ruby Isle is also amazing.

Like everybody, Jay-Z and Kanye and Britney. Also, The Cure and Deerhoof. And the Fireman for curiosity's sake. And Sammy Hagar because if I say this he will give me tequila.

I would rather eat my own earlobes than listen to the Streets.
