Billboard is hearing that Guns N’ Roses’ forever-in-the-making Chinese Democracy will land on Best Buy’s racks on Nov. 23–a Sunday, because it’s just Axl Rose’s prerogative to punch a hole in all those “there are [x] number of Tuesdays left in 2008″ jokes made by all those hacks in the peanut gallery. As a sort of run-up to this, Interscope is re-releasing the band’s 1987 debut Appetite For Destruction on vinyl. This to me seemed like a curious decision–do we really want to invite those comparisons before the record’s even out?–until I realized that the new season of VH1′s, Celebrity Rehab, featuring former drummer Steven Adler, premieres five days prior to that reissue. Ah, corporate synergies, you always surprise me with how low you can go. [Billboard]

I can’t wait for this album. Whatever with the music; I love Dr. Pepper.
Paging Dr. Pepper…give me my damn soda already
Are they re-releasing Appetite with the original cover? I don’t want mine to depreciate. [/nerd]
Listening party at the Rainbow anyone?
coincidentally, an ancient mayan relic was discovered today deep within the andes mountains, foretelling of a prophecy of a fire-haired man coming forth on sunday, the 23rd of november, to bring the end of the world as we know it. i know this to be true because I AM IN THE ANDES MOUNTAINS.
