Cherubic American Idol runner-up David Archuleta is singing “God Bless America” at Tropicana Field tonight during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series, and I suspect that his performance will result in any Archie’s Angels in the crowd falling into a semi-patriotic catatonic state: “The main video board in right field is 35 feet high and 64 feet wide, making it more than four times larger than the previous board.” Aww, our little warbler’s all grown up!
