Although in general I’m opposed to traffic-grabbing slideshows, I enjoyed The Tennessean‘s tribute to Michael W. Smith’s hair history full of extra-hold spray and highlights. Somehow, though, the author skipped the entire big hair era of Smith’s adult-alternative crossover days in the ’90s. While he might have had a hat at the ready on the cover of Go West Young Man, his giant golden mass of hair yearned to breathe free and would not be denied. [The Tennessean]

This was shoddy. There was so much fun MWS hair in the 80s that was completely ignored!!
So maybe I should keep my mouth shut about how I, ever so briefly, had the MWS do from “Go West Young Man”. It was an awkward time.
