Ace Of Base: They’re Back, And They’re Buying Vowels

A reunion tour and a forthcoming greatest-hits album have seemingly revitalized the Swedish pop outfit Ace Of Base, who announced yesterday that they’re putting out a new album sometime in 2009, and reworked their early track “Wheel Of Fortune” into the brittle, yet delightful “Wheel Of Fortune 2009.” Not only is this news pretty exciting for a slow-ass Tuesday morning, it’s an excuse to post “The Sign,” which I’ve placed after the jump!

Man, this song makes me so happy. You know what makes me even happier, though? One Life To Live tribute videos set to the Mountain Goats’ cover:

“All That She Wants” still holds up as one of my favorite pop songs ever. Also, do they still have the two dudes randomly whispering stuff in the new song?
