The remix of Coldplay’s “Lost!” featuring Jay-Z made its debut when the band dropped by Zane Lowe’s show on BBC earlier today, with Chris Martin remarking that “it’s the first time [he's] ever enjoyed a Coldplay song.” Oh, Chris, you’re so modest! Anyway, the remix isn’t all that different, save the voice of Jay dropping in–and according to Nah Right, Jay’s verse was previously heard on a session he did for Funkmaster Flex during the runup to 2006′s Kingdom Come. OK, maybe we should change “modest” to “easily amused” there? [YouTube / Nah Right]

Damn. Jigga sounded great over that track but left me wanting a lot more from it.
Eventually I’m going to get bored with Jay parachuting in and effortlessly flowing over some other dude’s record, like that time he showed Kanye how to rhyme in “Diamonds from Sierra Leone,” version 2. I should be sick of it by now, and in theory, I am.
Nah…not yet.
Bushwick Bill would have done this so much better.
@cmarsh: I think we can say that about nearly everything, no?
this is the best officially released coldplay jay-z collaboration played on the radio yet!
