About five years ago a still-unknown-to-me music writer put together a briefly-lived blog in which s/he posted commentary on some of the more outlandish/deluded promotional material s/he was sent. That blog faded in due time, but now the redoubtable Tom Ewing has put his own Tumblrized spin on it. Maybe it’s because Ewing used to work in market research that the site’s tone is so essentially good-humored, but whatever the impetus it’s worth bookmarking–think of it as the equivalent of an MP3 blog that skims the highlights of stuff you might have been curious about but wouldn’t, under the usual circumstances, seek out.
