Damon Albarn Allows Blur Fans To Dream Again

In the wake of a recent lunch date with estranged guitarist Graham Coxon, Damon Albarn has remarked to the BBC that a Blur reunion is “very possible.” Albarn left things on a cryptic note with the interviewer, saying “It’s very possible I’ll go back to Blur, it really is very possible” and “It’s good, but I can’t really say any more than that.” Coxon has been working with Pete Doherty recently, so clearly he’ll be tied up with that for some time, and Alex James is busy with his cheese, but at least there’s hope, right? Yay? I threw in the towel after “13.”

@Audif Jackson Winters III: What? Think Tank was really good! I wouldn’t say Graham was sorely missed, but “classic” Blur was always best.
Pretty exciting, but I’m not getting my hopes up! Just in case though, God…please make it Lollapalooza, and not Coachella, that gets the U.S. reunion show. I mean, God is the one to ask right? He deals with this stuff I think? He certainly answered that My Bloody Valentine prayer.
I guess Lollapalooza isn’t as Brit-centric as Coachella, I just can’t afford a trip to California. I can, however, afford a CTA pass.
Well this was a rambling post wasn’t it?

I really hope this happens. If it does, I will go to Coachella (granted, actually getting from Rhode Island to California will actually cost more than ticket, but who cares? It’s Blur, one my ten favorite bands of all time!

@moomintroll: Think Tank was a piece of shit thanks to working with people like Fatbow Slim.

If they reunite I’d go just to hear the old songs.

@moomintroll: Honestly, I really couldn’t be bothered with “Think Tank” after hearing the single with the duck voice on it. I accept duck vocals from one man, and one man only: Rick Dees.

  6. Yesterday, while I was at work, my sister stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a 25 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
