If you were wondering what the definition of “throw it against the wall and see what sticks” is: Rodney Jerkins, who penned “The Boy Is Mine,” “Say My Name,” and a bunch of other pop hits, is starting a social-networking site that will have avatars (like SecondLife) for which users can buy clothes (with real money). And anyone who signs up can also upload videos of their performance chops (in non-avatar form, presumably) to try and get a three-song demo deal. What, couldn’t they wedge a Twitter rip-off in there too? Oh, and it’s called “Music Mogul.” Of course. [Yahoo!]
