Ads: They’re Just Like Music Videos, Except Shorter

Earlier this week, we found a music video that formed itself wholly from various commercials, from the drumming to the vocals to the potential groupies, and today brings yet another video that runs with the whole “let’s smoosh a bunch of ads together and see if we can get something more meaningful than a fever dream that was the result of falling asleep with late-night TV on.” This time, the mashing-up is only happening to the ads’ visuals (the song is a little ork-pop trifle by the LA act Roni Brunn called “One Spring Away,” but still, it’s kind of indicative of ad agencies’ go-to scenarios–especially gorillas!–that all these spots can be edited into something semi-coherent, eh?
