After weeks of speculation that he had the job in hand, MySpace has finally announced that former MTV Networks bigwig Courtney Holt has been named CEO of its music service. Holt was an early adopter to the service, using it to market music from the Black Eyed Peas, Audioslave, and Weezer when he was a digital honcho at Interscope Geffen A & M. (So much to answer for, and he hasn’t even started yet!) [LAT]
