Dressed in a black and red goth glam ensemble, Hard Rock Goth Punk Barbie® features a short ruffled skirt, fish net stockings, fingerless gloves and a lace up corset accented by a silver “spider” necklace and earrings. An exclusive Hard Rock® Collector Pin and electric guitar (a replica, of course) complete the look.
Consider this my Thanksgiving present to all of you–well, my tipping you off, anyway, since each doll costs $70 (!!) and there’s no way that I have enough scratch to afford that present. (And no, my mother probably wouldn’t have allowed me to bring this into the house until I was at least 13. Or maybe 14, even–she was pretty strict!)

Fortunately I think the market for these are middle-aged collectors, not little girls.
what, no Hot Topic tie-in? Lamezo!
This toy sends the wrong message. Little girls need to grow up knowing that being impossibly thin and above average at guitar should be good enough for any boy. This gothic hooker nonsense is for tramps and wimps who don’t care enough about looking good to treat Red Bull as complete meal.

I thought this was Tokio Hotel Barbie
My mom would have totally bought that for me, but my mom’s a weirdo. She seemed genuinely disappointed when I grew out of my own goth-punk-fifth-grader phase.
You know what - shun me all you want, but I have never wanted to be Ken (or maybe another Barbie) more in my life. Goff Barbie reminds me of Lydia from the Beetlejuice cartoon.
Stiv Bators Ken not included.
