Add some darker colors, some random and completely illegible cursive print and a random 19th century picture of “winter in New England” and you have yourself a blogzine, my friends.

Hah, “ZOMG look it’s BRITT DANIEL!!!” is pretty damn accurate.
I really want this to be a real magazine. Maybe it’s just because I’ve been waist-deep in Asthmatic Kitty releases for the past month… starting to go a bit batty.

@Michaelangelo Matos: Man, Smash Hits was the best (was there a US Smash Hits too, or are you referring to the British one?)
to a ten year old, it was the coolest music mag ever, although my switch to Select when I was thirteen made me feel so grown up.

@moomintroll: the British one. I have the book commemorating its ’80s heyday, before I was into music mags.

@Michaelangelo Matos: I missed the heyday, I was well into the Take That/Bros/Kylie years when I was taking my pocket money to the newsagents. I did love the fact that although they were a teeny bopper magazine by the time I was ten, they had a good mix of decent bands. I thought I was so alternative because I liked Shakespeare’s Sister.
