The Yeah Yeah Yeahs released a holiday track via their MySpace earlier this week. It’s called “All I Want For Christmas,” but it’s not the song about wanting teeth, or the one Mariah Carey did a few months back; instead, its reverbed-to-Boxing Day guitars and delicate “fa la la”s add up to a song that might have been on an alternate-universe edition of the Phil Spector Christmas album, one that was laden with Pitchfork darlings.
