Their live show reminds me of how crazy Make-Up shows used to be, but Monotonix are less freaky. Also, the Make-Up were churning out some great-sounding records with mostly good songs at an amazing pace, whereas Monotonix has what, six songs out?

I saw them in DC a couple months back. I had to idea who they were and therefore had no idea what I was going to see. I’m just glad I wasn’t in the front row ’cause god knows what bodily fluids I would be covered in. Most fun I had at a show in a while.
