50 Cent was more than happy to tell a reporter that Eminem’s forthcoming album Relapse was mostly done, and that he’d be making an appearance on it: “Of course! I will be all over the record, you kidding me? You think I won’t take advantage of the opportunity for everybody to look at me and listen to me.” The reporter who took down this quote thought that 50 said that statement in jest, but something tells me he was dead serious, what with people seeming to be actively resistant to the idea that he’s more than a Vitamin Water spokesperson these days. When I have more street cred than 50 Cent — and I currently do — his career’s in serious jeopardy. One of the things that killed this guy besides a total lack of innovation or originality is that people refused to respond to his pathetic attempts at engaging them in battle.
