Pennsylvania tween act the Pop Rocks make their bid for late-January YouTube fame with this tweaked version of Pat Benatar’s “Heartbreaker,” which pays lyrical tribute to Lucas’ Super Bowl picks the Pittsburgh Steelers. (The multiple Ravens references make me think that this song was recorded sometime last week.) Sure, the meter doesn’t always scan precisely, and some of the lyrics are a bit awkward and tongue-twisty, but few of you out there will be surprised to learn that these 11-to-13-year-olds totally, righteously clown that unfortunate Arizona Cardinals rap. Seriously, any time distorted guitars are being used is there ANY point to having the ‘ol fiddle involved? Someone please pass this message on to Dave Grohl and Jon Bon Jovi.
