Last night’s 30 Rock not only made Dan sweat, it caused the folks at collective-knowledge-gone-staid Wikipedia to go “hmmm” over Janis Joplin’s entry. See, one of the episode’s running gags involved the show-within-a-show’s comedy writers editing that page on the user-generated encyclopedia in hopes of making the well-meaning egotist actress Jenna do things like eat cats and fear toilets as she prepped for what could be the role of her lifetime. Of course, the site’s editors threw the “Watch out!!” switch right away: “heads up for vandalism. 30 rock tonight is about comedy writers vandalising the janis joplin wikipedia page,” one wrote. (Look at all those aspiring Judah Friedlanders!) We’ll see how things turn out with the real Wikipedia soon enough, but for now, watch the fictional resolution to this prank after the jump.

I watched this episode, but the video above is confusing me.
While on the 30 Rock subject, I’d like to state that “I want to go to there” is going to be my most used phrase in 2009.

I have been sick and last night, by the time 30 Rock came on, I was in a slight cough syrup stupor, and I was beginning to think I totally missed the end of last nights episode, or I just didn’t “get it”. I also began thinking that maybe Liz Lemon’s shirt-ripping moment was part of a rad dream I’d had.
