The Jonas Brothers And TV On The Radio Come Together Through The Power Of NBC’s Booking Department

February 2nd, 2009 // 6 Comments

Well, sort of: The tween heartthrobs are, as rumored, officially going to be the musical guests on the Feb. 14 edition of Saturday Night Live, hosted by post-tween heartthrob Alec Baldwin, while the reigning Pazz & Jop champions will serve as the entertainment for this Saturday’s episode, which will be emceed by someone shilling that decidedly not acclaimed (by me, anyway) pile of chick-flick goo He’s Just Not That Into You. Well, I guess this sleight of booking will sort of help protect the psyches of the impressionable youth tuning in for a glimpse of Nick, Joe, and/or Kevin. [Just Jared Jr. / Pitchfork]

I’m praying that Joe Jonas has a nip slip. *drool*

From a writing standpoint, it would be more entertaining if Kyp Malone has a nip slip.

    a kyp slip

if that shit was Baldwin and TVOTR, I’d be outside 30 Rock waiting for tickets right now.

@Christopher R. Weingarten: Funny, I feel the same way about the Baldwin/JB lineup…

They should let the Jonas Brothers do multiple sketches. Or at least Joe. Adorbs.

Hey SNL writers, please try not to suck that week!

@ObtuseIntolerant: Oh they will. The FCC is probably going to force them to write more tween friendly sketches. I suspect most of you have blocked out the week they had Hanson on and how terrible that show was.
