Grammys Plan To Cram Anyone Who’s Sold A Record So Far This Year Into Sunday’s Telecast

Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus (yes, together), Adele, Estelle (with Kanye West in tow), and Chris Brown have been added to the bill for Sunday night’s stuffed-with-performers Grammy telecast, which is also going to feature a Four Tops tribute fronted by original Top Duke Fakir, Jamie Foxx, and Ne-Yo. I am guessing that, given the number of people scheduled to warble and strum during the course of the telecast, the actual number of awards given will be low, but I guess that’s what the Internet is for. (Unless we’re in for a long night of medleys, in which case, my liveblogging skills will be stretched to their absolute limit.) Full roster of announced-so-far performers after the jump!

@2ironic4u: I think it’d be better if Paul McCartney and Dave Grohl played it.

I really hope Taylor and Miley play “Forever & Always” and at least two of the Jonas Brothers explode.

@beefheartfan: Can’t be any worse than the year they paired Foo Fighters with Chick Corea.

How ironic would it be if Radiohead played “Creep” at this?

“Paul McCartney feat. Dave Grohl”…I have a headache just thinking about it.

This is just the pop/rock/R&B/country roster of performers, right?

Where’s the part where they run the risk of boring the kids with people in tuxes and evening gowns, playing good-for-you music?

@Chris Molanphy: Yeah, where’s the opera?

Also, I love Ne-Yo, but somehow I can’t see him subbing for Levi Stubbs.
