It’s like she has heard Bjork’s voice once, but otherwise knows absolutely nothing about her. I just didn’t see where the “insight” or “humor” or “commentary” or “something that was interesting” was in that bit, at all.

@Bjork Rhymes With Pork: @Maura Johnston: I'm with you guys. I've been waiting for the Kristen Wiig backlash to begin. Its not that I don't think she's funny, because I do actually, its just that every character of her's seems exactly the same. SNL is the perfect show to demonstrate comedic "range," but I just don't see it coming from her.

This is proof that no matter what she does, no matter what records she makes, no matter how ambitious her stage shows get, no matter how amusing her videos will be, no matter what collaborators she choses, Björk’s public image in America is never ever ever ever ever ever going to progress much beyond the “Big Time Sensuality” video and the swan dress. And since I’m not fond of her, this tickles me to no end.
