Because he’s always looking for ways to keep his name in the press, guitarist/outdoorsman/author/general loudmouth Ted Nugent has released a 10-song playlist—excuse me, “love manifesto”—into the wild in honor of Valentine’s Day. It is somehow not made up of 10 songs by the Nuge, although it does have a 30% “songs with variations on the word ‘Wang’ in the title” quotient. Feel the wango of his tango after the jump!

Let’s put aside the dubious nature of “Brown Sugar” being on there and focus on his pick of “The Flame,” which to me brands our favorite tough guy as a wuss, no matter how many wildebeests he kills between now and Feb. 14.

I’m surprised he included the original version of “Wang Dang Doodle,” given that he covered it on Craveman (which I own) back in 2002.

The Flame? THE FLAME? The Motherfucking FLAME? Take Cheap Tricks first four studio records and they’re 921,508 times better than THE FLAME! Everything on One On One is 149,437 times better than THE FLAME!
Hell, ETERNAL FLAME by the Bangles is better than THE FLAME, and Eternal Flame is never to be heard in my house again, lest death come upon the occupants.
