@moomintroll: Just not sure who it's aimed for. Sometimes I feel too old to watch it, but then again I wouldn't think parents would want teenagers to see it either...Or maybe I've just lived in America too long and have become a puritan?

I admit it...I watch Skins.
But really? Who is that show aimed for anyway? It's about a bunch of 16-17 year olds, granted, but I would NEVER let my kids watch it (if I had kids). These kids are seriously messed up.
It has Harry Enfield in it though, which is a plus. They also purge the cast when they get too old for shenanigans (which is way better than Luke Perry trying to be a 30 year old high schooler)
The music in it is really well placed though, I think it's a large reason for its success. It sort of makes the stupid story lines seem deep when there's some moody indie rock soundtracking it.
