&lt;p&gt;I think Eircom is potentially signing its own death warrant here. The Irish broadband market is extremely competitive (despite its pathetic geographic coverage) and Eircom is already one of the more expensive providers. I think people will find it very easy to switch to NTL or BT if this becomes a major issue. I know I&#039;d never have dreamed of using Eircom before, nevermind now.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

However, anyone wishing to download anything, or even look at a webpage using Eircom&#039;s amazing internet speeds ae very brave folk indeed. Add in the low percentage of people with internet access in Ireland...not too many people will care for now (sadly). I&#039;m sure this will end up in the European Courts at some stage in the future.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
