There's a coda set in 1981 where Cherie is working a supermarket checkout and she hears Joan being interviewed by Rodney on KROQ and she calls in to say hi. It's fittingly sad. Great script, and Dakota Fanning is probably a smart choice. Rodney Bingenheimer pops up frequently, which is fun.</p> The script starts with the Runaways forming and ends as they’re breaking up.
