Damn, now that's a guitar hook!

I sort of feel about this the way I felt the first time (don't laugh/scoff) I heard Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way?" in 1993. The guy was a punchline before that, but then he delivered this chewy rock hook that kind of quieted the naysayers and made you go, Well, I guess he does have that going for him. (Then he went back to being lame.)

It's a disgrace for me to compare Prince to Kravitz, but it's been so long since HRB has tried to do a pure-rock hook like that, I half-forgot he could do it.

Every time I see Prince touch a guitar, it never fails to make me happy. That's how music should sound!
