A TV station in Panama City, Fla., is refusing to air Osbournes: Reloaded tonight, saying that the variety show is “unsuitable and contrary to the public interest.” The fact that the station is using the timeslot to re-run an old episode of The Simpsons, however, makes me think that said morally outraged blustering is a smokescreen for deep-seated—and not at all unfounded!—concern about the show’s quite-dismal ratings prospects.
