No word on what the project will be named, but there will definitely be a 100-person Chinese choir present and the title will likely feature the word “monkey.” It’s also possible that some of the “80, 90 musicians” involved will be musical legends rendered unrecognizable on the final recording.     90 musicians? 100 person chinese choir? thats why i think damon albarn is the best working musician in the world right now. that and everything else he’s touched since blur. except that rapper he showed up on later with a while back. still. what a hero..

    @ noamjamski: One day hopefully he’ll just be Damon Albarn (with no qualifier in front of his name) in America. I’ve tried to let go of the pain that the end of Blur has caused. Now, if only the NME could follow suit and quit dredging up reunion rumors every 10 minutes I’d have time to heal….
