Girls Aloud Go To Bat For False Lashes

Sure, other pop stars have launched makeup and perfume (Electric Youth holla), but I’m pretty sure that UK pop royalty Girls Aloud are the first outfit to release false eyelashes that are tailored to each member’s blink-framing aesthetic. (Girl Aloud Cheryl Cole is apparently spearheading the false-eyelash charge throughout Britain.) And if the group’s video for their new single “Untouchable” is any indication, they’ll be able to stay attached even when their wearers are being hurtled through space, thus making them worth the £4.95-per-pair investment:

Maura, you might be the only other person I know who is obsessed with Girls Aloud. And I thank you for that.

i like how upset popjustice is about the single edit of the song not being three hours long like on the album.

@romastrega: You’re in company with the Pet Shop Boys, if that helps.

love the song and the video. funny, i can’t think of any artist right now that gets Americans excited by their videos like Girls Aloud does with some Brits. Kanye, maybe. Rihanna?
