The Roots, Big Boi, And Nas Will Be Touring With Bells On

The Roots, Nas, Damian Marley, Big Boi, and Common are headlining this year’s installment of the Rock The Bells tour, which will set up shop in 10 cities across North America this summer. Nas and Marley are also putting out an album in June, so presumably they’ll share some stage time. The bill’s exact lineup will fluctuate a bit from city to city, but a rundown of all the performers scheduled to play at least one date is after the jump.

No mention of the House of Pain reunion? Jump Around! Going to be a busy summer for DJ Lethal.

Sonofabitch, that’s a SPECTACULAR lineup. Of course, lord only knows which acts will be at which shows, but still… Nas + Common + RZA + KRS + Everlast (I’m an unashamed fan) + Talib Kweli = taking my money.

  3. @bnb614: I was thinking the same thing. DJ Lethal went from nothing to having 2 bands to tour with this summer. Dude is stoked.

  4. Hip hop works so poorly in big awful venues like this tour normally uses. Last years line-up was once-in-a-lifetime so it was worth braving a shitty venue in San Bernadino, but I don’t think I’ll ever get near this festival again.

I don’t see anyone on that bill that can rock a large venue like Tribe did last year…
