@chachwitablog: @Audif Jackson Winters III: You guys may be right that this is all its about. South Park is normally so focused in its satire though. I really got the impression that they were attacking someone that was in the writing room and was taking credit (and profiting) even though they had done nothing to help write the jokes.

There was a contest for funniest joke in the world and this won:

A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: "Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: "OK, now what?"

@Rory B. Bellows: I haven't seen the episode yet (can't wait to now though), but I know Trey and Matt have gone on record dissing Seth McFarlane (family guy) and saying he doesn't write his jokes, he has a huge room full of writers just coming up with stuff.

So does anyone know the inside story of this episode? Are Trey and Matt involved in a dispute as to which one of them is actually writing all the jokes? The whole episode seemed to be a thinly vailed attack on someone other than Kanye. I just don't know who.
