Dave Matthews announced the free availability of the first single from his crazy popular band’s forthcoming album Big Whiskey & The Groogrux King via his Twitter, which has 410,212 followers (and counting), a couple of hours ago. “Funny How It Is”—which you can add to your hard drive for the low price of an e-mail address—will be available for $0.00 for the next week. “Funny” doesn’t exactly break new ground in the band’s catalog, although the electric-violin solo and Matthews’ slightly adenoidal vocals are surrounded by what i daresay is music with a bit of crunch.
