The question’s pretty simple, although to make things a little bit tougher, let’s say that the songs in question have to be about food, and not sexual metaphors for food. “Beans and Cornbread” is the winner, but a close second is “Chicken Necks” by Don & Juan. It’s the B-side to their doo-wop song “What’s Your Name,” and I know it from my mom’s old 45s. A sample lyric, including the chorus:
“On the weekend when I bring home my check

It’s technically not ‘about’ food, but I have to go with “MacArthur Park” (Donna Summer version).
