Kylie Minogue Is Finally Coming To North America

kylieeee-thumb Kylie Minogue is finally touring North America with a six-date jaunt between the United States and Canada this fall; three of the dates will be on the West Coast, two in the Northeast, and one in Chicago. (Sorry, southeastern Kylie fans.) She’s also going to be on Today this Friday, although she’ll be relegated to the fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb while the New Kids On The Block get the multi-song concert treatment (I suspect that this pairing will result in some Idolator readers camping out at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, though.) Dates after the jump!

Sept. 30: Oakland, Calif. (Fox Theater)
Oct. 3: Las Vegas (The Pearl @ Palms Hotel & Casino)
Oct. 4: Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl)
Oct. 7: Chicago (Congress Theater)
Oct. 9: Toronto (Air Canada Centre)
Oct. 11: New York (Hammerstein Ballroom)

  1. I am SO F___ING THERE. New York is the last stop on the tour, so they will obviously be adding more and more shows at Hammerstein as it sells out again, and again, and again. Seriously, she could’ve filled Madison Square Garden to the brim with the gays of this town and still maybe added another show.

It’ll be a fun Hammerstein dance party, though, as long as they don’t dramatically oversell the venue so that you can’t freakin’ move. Which I’m sure they will.

  2. @dyfl: Totally agree with you on the extended run potential, and the MSG-sellout potential.

The Hollywood Bowl show should be amazing, though. What a venue.

  3. SCREAMING AND CRYING.

  4. I smell Idolator field trip…

  5. @dyfl: That is kind of a weird jump in terms of venue size between the large Hollywood Bowl and the (I think) mere 5000-capacity of Hammerstein Ballroom.

  6. I may have to break my streak of non-major-concert attendance (since The Cure’s “Disintegration” tour [paid] or Lollapalooza I [free]) just for the sheer spectacle.

An Idolator field trip sounds like a GREAT plan.

  7. So. Excited. Can. Barely. Think.

  8. First there was the Roxette reunion story from yesterday and now this (!!!). I think all of the good news I’ve gotten this week has come directly from Maura.

I’m be in for an Idolator field trip.
