Wilco Sure Knows How To Throw A Roof Party

Kind of makes you feel bad for whoever’s saddled with cleanup duty, but hey, at least the presence of a camel will give even the most persistent wallflower something to talk about. Which makes you wonder who’s going to be the first Wilco fanatic to “ironically” appropriate the above concept for a theme party of their own.

I’m not sure if I like it. But it does have a busy-ness that was missing from the covers of YHF, A Ghost is Born, and Sky Blue Sky. Thankful for that.

I appreciate the absurd spectacle of it. Also, “Wilco the Song” is one of my favorite Wilco things ever, so I’m already anticipating this album pretty hard.
