Country-and-western stalwarts the Oak Ridge Boys have covered the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” on their album The Boys Are Back, which hits stores next week. The swapping in of harmonizing voices for Jack White’s downtuned guitar is kind of genius, thanks to it making the track sound even more menacing than when it was just Jack and Meg doing their thing. This is awesome.
Ha. That’s kinda cool, and funny…and about as menacing as Pat Boone covering Metallica.
