The build leading into the first chorus, with him blasting on “But all I ever wanted to DOOOOOO…” is sorta mind-blowing. That guy’s voice continues to be a secret weapon.
We saw the last night of the FOB tour last night and Patrick really is the best part of that band.
Also, I’ve already watched this video more times than should probably be allowed. Prince + pstump = win!
@LeighBlack: No offense to the other FOBers, but I agree. I equate him to the early Bono, where he started out more of a great onstage personality than a singer, and then his voice really developed into something powerful.
You think this is good? Being a Prince fan, I’ve heard a lot of covers and this ranks at the bottom. It’s more of a parody then anything else.
