My guess: You either have to be drop dead gorgeous, have an absolutely amazing voice, be funny looking, absolutely awful, dressed up in some silly costume... I'll stop my list there you get the picture. So it was a good experience but 2 judges (joe shmoes) either say yay or nay and then you go to 3 more auditions before you can even see Simon which isn't until January. another first-person account:
