Chris Brown’s lawyers are hoping to delay a preliminary hearing set for Monday in his assault case against Rihanna, the second time that his legal team has tried to do so. Rihanna is expected to testify at the hearing. Some unseemly types are threatening to engage in a bit of sex-tape synergy with the case; they claim that they have a video of the “Shut Up And Drive” singer doing the nasty with Brown and that they’re going to release said video on the date of Rihanna’s testimony, in a bit of behavior that comes off like noxious opportunism and blackmail at the same time.
