  1. You know, this is one of those cases that I think people actually might misinterpret in context. Fentanyl is an opiate and comes in a patch, and it has had a huge wave of recalls over the past year due to accidental overdoses. I know this because it was prescribed to me after back surgery, and I slapped it on, and it made me hallucinate and puke and freak out and, when I took it off, go into what I can only assume is what actual heroin withdrawal feels like because I wanted to die more than anything has every made me want to die. So I’m taking this one at total face value, and an absolute tragedy.

  2. This happened to a neighbor of mine. Same stuff. Tragic.

  3. Really sad. Bennett should have been in the world for many more years.

Seems like the prescribing and usage of Fentanyl (and many other drugs out there) should be closely monitored. Too often, careless doctors and uneducated patients means trouble. “Helpful” pharmaceutical behemoths rampage for an increasingly drugged up society – all in the name of making money – at any cost.

  4. @cheesebubble:

Neighbor that died, her husband was a pharmacist. So it was really, really questionable. Should he have known better?
