Hmm… the “follow me as I try out for American Idol” blog that I stumbled across last week hasn’t been updated since Saturday, when the singing blogger registered for the Chicago auditions. Those took place on Monday. Could this be a hint that the hopeful made it, or something more ominous? I hope she didn’t lose her voice during the seventh inning of Sunday’s Cubs game! As someone who wasn’t pre-recruited, she never had a real chance of getting to the top 36.
She may have made it to the “real” auditions with the judges however, which won’t be taking place until July/August.
@stixx: Apparently, she made it.
(Also I still think this might be a viral-marketing ploy. We’ll see.)
