The Seattle seven-piece U.S.E–formerly known ’round these parts as United State of Electronica–proved themselves to be one of indiepop’s most cheerleadery outfits of recent vintage, thanks to their shout-along choruses, effortlessly hummable melodies, and completely infectious brand of what they call “uber-positivity.” Their second album L O V E W O R L D comes out on Aug. 4, and we’ve been given a sweet little sample of it–it’s called, appropriately enough, “K.I.S.S.I.N.G,” and the joy that’s threatening to burst out of it is, for lack of a better term, crushworthy.
