I knew it! That woman who was blogging about her American Idol tryout on Monday in Chicago got quiet… because she got a golden ticket to try out in front of Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi, and Paula Abdul (or at least three of those four, anyway) later this summer. This doesn’t really make me less suspicious about it being some sort of viral-marketing plot, but I guess I’ll have to wait another couple of weeks before I collect any more evidence.
