Am I the only person who was a bit jarred by the closing of the BET Awards, with Janet Jackson coming out in tears and Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo dueting on a mournful version of “I’ll Be There,” being juxtaposed with the much-ballyhooed premiere of a video calling for “death” to a lousy old computer program? Especially when said video continues Jay’s “picking on people smaller than him” trend with cameos by LeBron James, Harvey Keitel, and the notoriously difficult-to-get-into New York restaurant Rao’s? Oh well. Can’t wait to see this on MTV Hits! [onSMASH]

Oooh, oooh, oooh, but it’s a song about killing a program that produced illusion and pretenders to the throne of the King of Pop! It MUST be a tribute in its own way!
I’m just happy that Jay seems interested in making a better record than Kingdom Come. Also, that instrumental sounds vicious live.
