Red Hot Chili Peppers skinsman Chad Smith is a testament to the perils of not conditioning before heading out on tour, thanks to an injury sustained during a Chickenfoot show that has put him on the DDL (drummers’ disabled list): “We are sorry to inform our Spanish fans that Chickenfoot cannot perform tomorrow night in Madrid due to a serious injury to drummer Chad Smith. Chickenfoot’s name and logo are such an affront to good taste that they could sound just like Ziggy Stardust and It Takes A Nation of Millions and Disintegration rolled into one Abbey Road-style medley and I would still never listen to them.
