My favorite being the person selling their rejection letter based on the premise that the picture is beautiful. Oh and the seller had never seen the picture, so of course, potential buyers have never seen it either.

I can’t think of another celebrity death that has had this kind of media circus since Cobain or Princess Di (don’t recall who died first, too lazy to look it up). I just don’t get it. All this wailing and gnashing of teeth makes absolute sense for his friends, family, and associates. But fans? Total strangers whose only real connection to him was having given him a few bucks through a few dozen intermediary parties for some albums he released? Strange strange world we live in.

I thought Punt/Dennis on the Now Show put it best “I do feel bad at the loss of Quincy Jones’ most valuable instrument.”
